The coaching staff of De Kasteelheren protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gertjan Homan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Kasteelheren! Olof Rijaard charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olof Rijaard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Olof Rijaard hit a great ball. Hasan Bræmdal didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when De Kasteelheren's Erwin Lanting shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erwin Lanting in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hasan Bræmdal saved FC Hyklerne from getting behind. After 27 minutes of play, FC Hyklerne's Amadeus Paabøl made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernard Mülder was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefano Zijden to maneuver through the defense. Hasan Bræmdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlo Bosstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Bernard Mülder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thorkild Vilfeldt in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorkild Vilfeldt in the 39th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bernard Mülder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Bræmdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin Lanting, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Carlo Bosstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 51st minute, Erwin Lanting made a precise shot to the right of Hasan Bræmdal. FC Hyklerne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 58 minutes into the match, FC Hyklerne's goal looked a bit too open when Erwin Lanting came free, but Hasan Bræmdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Hyklerne's Amadeus Paabøl got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Erwin Lanting took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hasan Bræmdal. Hasan Bræmdal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Hans-Cees Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Bræmdal having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Peiter Rotaus was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Hyklerne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave De Kasteelheren the free kick. Carlo Bosstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hasan Bræmdal having to interfere. Hasan Bræmdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erwin Lanting in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peiter Rotaus in the 93rd minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bernard Mülder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernard Mülder made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Amadeus Paabøl sent off a good shot on target.
