Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birol Atabey in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Wojtowicz in the 16th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Edward Chazen came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Black Hołdunów fans jumped to their feet. Edward Chazen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Szamotulski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Chazen, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Dahlqvist in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Chazen in the 24th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Bierfass stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominik Piczak's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olgierd Wojtowicz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute John Dahlqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grzegorz Szamotulski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Krivé hnáty was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Seco to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goal looked a bit too open when John Dahlqvist came free, but Grzegorz Szamotulski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rubens Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubens Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Bierfass having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Chazen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes Krivé hnáty's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Chazen who took care of the corner kick. Waldemar Bierfass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Krivé hnáty's Rubens Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Bierfass made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Grzegorz Szamotulski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Chazen in the 65th minute of play. With a little luck, Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski got control of the ball when Iwo Odachowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute of the match Black Hołdunów got a corner. Krivé hnáty's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Chazen ran over to the corner to take the kick. John Dahlqvist made a great header on Black Hołdunów's corner, it was just that Krivé hnáty's Grzegorz Szamotulski managed to reach the ball for a save. Grzegorz Szamotulski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Chazen in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birol Atabey in the 78th minute of play forced Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Grzegorz Szamotulski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olgierd Wojtowicz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Krivé hnáty's Juraj Sklár was substituted for Marián Had. In the 84th match minute, Black Hołdunów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iwo Odachowski to maneuver through the defense. Gürol Yengi struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Waldemar Bierfass didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Krivé hnáty. In the 93rd minute Dominik Piczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Bierfass saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
