Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Evarado to make the kick off. If Bertil Ekman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. White Hart Lane made a substitution. Henry Käcker replaced Supreme Back. Leo Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Apelquist having to interfere. When German Evarado came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Freestylers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Evarado couldn't finish the play. The White Hart Lane fans' excitement grew in the 95th match minute when White Hart Lane's Olle Ekström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The White Hart Lane support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
