With a left leg Iwan Swoboda saved FC Szczucin from getting behind. Renato Tapia was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Pepe Toxeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolaj Hendzel in the 18th minute of the match. Renato Tapia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute, Stasio Lewkowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Szczucin fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Iwan Swoboda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, FC Szczucin's goalkeeper Iwan Swoboda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renato Tapia. If Guillermo Marin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Benedykt Prusinowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute, FC Szczucin's Iwan Mroczynski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iwan Mroczynski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Szczucin protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iwan Mroczynski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Renato Tapia made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Renato Tapia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Renato Tapia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Iwan Swoboda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Renato Tapia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iwan Swoboda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Tapia, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Benedykt Prusinowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Pepe Toxeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edmund Walentowicz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Unai Nuñez was substituted for Cordera Unzueta. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Renato Tapia during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute of the match Edmund Walentowicz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Toxeiro skillfully saved the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when FC Szczucin's Benedykt Prusinowski in the 77th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Pepe Toxeiro was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Real Club Celta de Vigo through an amazing save. After a rather tough play, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Nestor Araujo got a free kick in the 81st minute. Guillermo Marin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute, Everardo Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute Everardo Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iwan Swoboda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Szczucin's Iwan Swoboda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Arias in the 96th minute of play. FC Szczucin's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Real Club Celta de Vigo had won, even though FC Szczucin had held more of the ball.
