Matthias Büssinger made a great header on Freestylers's corner, it was just that 3City United's Bernt Ånger managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Evarado in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernt Ånger saved 3City United from getting behind. With a little luck, Freestylers's Yuan Lei Jing got control of the ball when Boruc Mierzwa tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Freestylers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Björn Lachenicht hit a great ball. Bernt Ånger came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Freestylers's German Evarado. But to his dismay, German Evarado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Musa Bardakçı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernt Ånger. 3City United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Musa Bardakçı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 46th minute, Remigiusz Mlekodaj made a precise shot to the right of Yuan Lei Jing. Freestylers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
Yuan Lei Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boguslaw Marczyniec in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Dominik Galagan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuan Lei Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, Freestylers's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Mierzwa came free, but Yuan Lei Jing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Freestylers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
