In the 11th minute Rob Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12thth minute of the game Mister Yasin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Agger hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Victoriano Quintin, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Mister Yasin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Lico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Sydney Ross managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Deportivo Diamante U18's Leonides Dalmau fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sydney Ross made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Leonides Dalmau sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Leonides Dalmau put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sydney Ross. The supporters of Deportivo Diamante U18 booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Panetta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manly FC's Sydney Ross proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. Matthias Hanslow scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Fagildo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

With a left leg Sydney Ross saved Manly FC from getting behind. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo Diamante U18's goalkeeper Gregorio Fagildo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mister Yasin. In the 85th play minute Mister Yasin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gregorio Fagildo. 2-2. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo Diamante U18 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Acuña to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Andres Dollymore hit a great ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
