Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Gustavo Isazi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Ross saved Manly FC from getting behind. In the 5th minute, Bray Paull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Januszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Gustavo Isazi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Sydney Ross tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Faustino Charro got a free kick in the 10th minute. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wlodzimierz Januszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rob Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Northern California's zone, Mister Yasin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingos Savier came out of the goal and Mister Yasin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Januszewski came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingos Savier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Isazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sydney Ross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wlodzimierz Januszewski in the 37th minute of play. Luciano Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Wlodzimierz Januszewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Northern California's Gustavo Isazi in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manly FC's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Burton was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roberto Tartalo hit a great ball. Domingos Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Burton in the 52nd minute of play. Luciano Goizeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Ross. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano Goizeder ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wlodzimierz Januszewski got free with Sydney Ross in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Northern California's Luciano Goizeder to fire away a dangerous shot which Sydney Ross despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sydney Ross made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Wlodzimierz Januszewski sent off a good shot on target. Manly FC made a substitution. Bruno Domenichetti replaced Rob Burton. In the 70th minute, Roberto Tartalo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Savier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Domenichetti in the 71st minute of play. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bruno Domenichetti sped through Northern California's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Domingos Savier. Mister Yasin kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Andres Dollymore made in the 76th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mister Yasin however managed to control. Mister Yasin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manly FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luciano Goizeder was slow to take the kick. During this time Northern California's players had a chance to rest. After 83 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Wlodzimierz Januszewski. The free kick in the 83rd minute by Wlodzimierz Januszewski was well hit, but to his irritation, it went to the left of the post instead of in the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Northern California's Wlodzimierz Januszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Ross narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Dollymore during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Dollymore. In the 94th minute, Wlodzimierz Januszewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manly FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Northern California had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
