In the 15th minute, Fabricio Oliverios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 minutes, Bruno Montez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terapia Intensiva and the ToonSoldiers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Terapia Intensiva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Gauargi to maneuver through the defense. Alípio Albuquerque was slow to take the kick. During this time Terapia Intensiva's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Bruno Montez heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Terapia Intensiva's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
