Egídio Reis made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Herman De Strijcker sent off a good shot on target. Egídio Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Burton in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th match minute, Leões do Sul 53 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Rob Burton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rob Burton sped through Leões do Sul 53's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Egídio Reis. 18 minutes into the match, Matthias Hanslow had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egídio Reis. Leões do Sul 53's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matthias Hanslow was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Matthias Hanslow hit a great ball. Vito Donato hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Herman De Strijcker struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Egídio Reis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Burton in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Egídio Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ronaldinho de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leões do Sul 53's protests and gave Ronaldinho de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ronaldinho de Castro hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rob Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rob Burton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Egídio Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis got control of the ball when Herman De Strijcker tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Manly FC's Rob Burton slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Egídio Reis. That made the score 4-0 after 41 minutes of play. Egídio Reis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rob Burton showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Burton was the one to do the kick off. Matthias Hanslow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Reis having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Rob Burton made a precise shot to the right of Egídio Reis. Leões do Sul 53's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 62 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Burton came free, but Egídio Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Sena during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Rob Burton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Egídio Reis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Egídio Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Manly FC's Sydney Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Soeiro in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Donato came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leões do Sul 53's Egídio Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rob Burton in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Bernardo Soeiro got a free kick in the 81st minute. After 82 played minutes Leões do Sul 53 got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Soeiro. Egídio Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman De Strijcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Herman De Strijcker made a precise shot to the right of Egídio Reis. Leões do Sul 53's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. Egídio Reis came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Herman De Strijcker. But to his dismay, Herman De Strijcker quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Egídio Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mister Yasin in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute of the match Matthias Hanslow sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egídio Reis skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Leões do Sul 53 getting a freekick after 100 minutes play. Bernardo Soeiro hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manly FC had played much better football throughout.
