Northern California's Domingos Savier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Koppenhöfer in the 29th minute of play. Wlodzimierz Januszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joachim Olivier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Northern California booed when Borussia Ostermoordorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Koppenhöfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Northern California's Faustino Charro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joachim Olivier. Joachim Olivier had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Faustino Charro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Northern California's Faustino Charro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joachim Olivier narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Birger Koppenhöfer got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Northern California supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Northern California would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
