In the 4th minute Victoriano Quintin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Quintin in the 4th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Deportivo Diamante U18's Rolando Vistruario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubinho Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute of the match Deportivo Diamante U18 got a corner. Leões do Sul 53's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victoriano Quintin ran over to the corner to take the kick. Deportivo Diamante U18's Victoriano Quintin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubinho Couto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 10thth minute of the game Rolando Vistruario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leonides Dalmau could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Rubinho Couto made a huge save. Rubinho Couto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rolando Vistruario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 17th minute, Doni Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Leões do Sul 53 from getting a goal against them. Rubinho Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Dalmau in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Natanael de Brito in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Fagildo saved Deportivo Diamante U18 from getting behind. When Deportivo Diamante U18's Leonides Dalmau, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Diamante U18. In the 27th minute Rolando Vistruario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute Natanael de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Fagildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto got control of the ball when Leonides Dalmau tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Vistruario came free, but Rubinho Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Leões do Sul 53's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. The corner ended in Mateo Sindo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto did a great save. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Mateo Sindo sped through Leões do Sul 53's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rubinho Couto. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Dedé Viana got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Florentino Lico fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Diamante U18's protests and gave Florentino Lico a yellow card for diving instead. Florentino Lico hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gregorio Fagildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael de Brito in the 42nd minute of the match. Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Vistruario in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Zé Augusto da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leões do Sul 53's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Diamante U18 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leões do Sul 53's Zé Augusto da Costa got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

60 minutes into the match, Leonides Dalmau notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto. Rubinho Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62nd minute, Esteban Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes of play, Deportivo Diamante U18's Rolando Vistruario made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rubinho Couto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubinho Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Dalmau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Dalmau in the 70th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Leonides Dalmau came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Deportivo Diamante U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Dalmau couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Vistruario came free, but Rubinho Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Dalmau in the 84th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubinho Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Rubinho Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Quintin in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Leonides Dalmau ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubinho Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. With a little luck, Deportivo Diamante U18's Gregorio Fagildo got control of the ball when Natanael de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Diamante U18 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
