In the 18thth minute of the game Myroslav Akymenko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borussia Ostermoordorf's Joachim Olivier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kostyantyn Tereschenko in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joachim Olivier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joachim Olivier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danylo Lobanovsjkyi charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Danylo Lobanovsjkyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Danylo Lobanovsjkyi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Andriy Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joachim Grebe in the 31st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Ruh Lviv booed when Borussia Ostermoordorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Stork didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 36th minute of play forced Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalkeeper Joachim Olivier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Yarema Rybka fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ruh Lviv's protests and gave Yarema Rybka a yellow card for diving instead. Borussia Ostermoordorf's Achim Schuchter was substituted for Joachim Grebe. In the 41st minute, one of FC Ruh Lviv:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruh Lviv. Andriy Trubin had in the 45thth minute some difficulties stopping Benjamin Oppenheim's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yarema Rybka was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yarema Rybka kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achim Schuchter was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Adnan Stork managed to get in a good position for a shot. Borussia Ostermoordorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Adnan Stork was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andriy Trubin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Achim Schuchter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Andriy Trubin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Borussia Ostermoordorf's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pylyp Vitvitskyi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Andriy Trubin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achim Schuchter in the 60th minute of play. If Pylyp Vitvitskyi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raphael Beilmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, one of FC Ruh Lviv:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ruh Lviv. If Kostyantyn Tereschenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achim Schuchter took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andriy Trubin. Andriy Trubin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Raphael Beilmann struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Andriy Trubin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borussia Ostermoordorf. The crowd rose to their feet as Kostyantyn Tereschenko kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joachim Olivier. That made the score 2-1 in the 96 minute of play. Borussia Ostermoordorf were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Ruh Lviv for a fine match.
