The referee ignored Gnaget United FC's protests and gave Arman Esbjörnsson a yellow card for diving instead. Arman Esbjörnsson hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Ludvig Lund scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Soter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th minute, Gregorio Pelagius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ronnie Hellström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Gnaget United FC's Bogdan Utretskiy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of David Soter. That made the score 2-1 after 22 minutes of play. Bogdan Utretskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clóvis Cabral in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Soter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bogdan Utretskiy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Soter having to interfere. Gregorio Pelagius might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ronnie Hellström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Pelagius ran back to his position shaking his head. Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Pelagius in the 35th minute of play. Clóvis Cabral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Soter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. GUTIERREZ SC's David Soter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carl Jonsson in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gnaget United FC made a substitution. Carl Kling replaced Clóvis Cabral. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bogdan Utretskiy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gnaget United FC booed when GUTIERREZ SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Pelagius didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Soter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludvig Lund in the 63rd minute of play forced GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper David Soter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carl Kling took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Soter. David Soter dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper David Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carl Kling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Soter read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's Bogdan Utretskiy sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Soter narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gregorio Pelagius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronnie Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Pelagius in the 83rd minute of play. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind GUTIERREZ SC's goalkeeper David Soter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregorio Pelagius received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronnie Hellström came out and tried to block the shot, but Gregorio Pelagius slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Bogdan Utretskiy sped through GUTIERREZ SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of David Soter. GUTIERREZ SC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
