Danilo Vaz guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Danilo Vaz made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Adam Wielowiejski sent off a good shot on target. In the 24th minute, Arthur Hengemühl reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danilo Vaz. The goal made the score 1-0. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Iurie Croitoru sped through Tarada's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrick Zeier. Danilo Vaz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adam Wielowiejski in the 30th minute. Arthur Hengemühl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Danilo Vaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Eichelberger in the 39th minute of play forced Greenboys FC's goalkeeper Danilo Vaz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Serge Jeanneret had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Vaz. Greenboys FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serge Jeanneret was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Stian Aarflot put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Vaz. Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Hengemühl in the 70th minute of play. In the 74th minute Stian Aarflot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stian Aarflot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Vaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Wielowiejski in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Arthur Hengemühl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
