With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ximenez Cayuso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 4th minute by Vitório Moreno got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lisandro Piearres got free with Nicasio Thomas in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicasio Thomas made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Lisandro Piearres sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lisandro Piearres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekzema F.V.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Piearres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicasio Thomas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
