Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Claes Lövskog sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Benito Sanz threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Claes Lövskog this time. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Tohias in the 11th minute of play. A collision led to Gl3n Grant A C getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ruperto Leguizamón hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 16th minute of play forced Gl3n Grant A C's goalkeeper Eliseo Totakoxe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Gl3n Grant A C's Arnulfo Batista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patrik Hökqvist in the 28th minute. The supporters of Gl3n Grant A C booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patrik Hökqvist scored 2-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Patrik Hökqvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Patrik Hökqvist slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Gl3n Grant A C's Fermin Olivar got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Patrik Hökqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Hökqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Bressal John recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Patrik Hökqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. 74 minutes into the game, Patrik Hökqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Bressal John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute, Bressal John got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrik Hökqvist took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Batista in the 89th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Alan Moruga got a free kick in the 90th minute. Patrik Hökqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute, Patrik Hökqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gl3n Grant A C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Gl3n Grant A C fully deserved thier win.
