Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Miodek in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuşirävan Cäbrayilov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ke Kun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Äliqulu Vermäliyev in the 96th minute of play. Azerbaijan's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
