Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Youri Meijeringh started the match with the kick off. The supporters of The Maquis booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Facundo Cadaval didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Walregt in the 5th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Maquis made a substitution. Pieter Wilhelm replaced Youri Meijeringh. Facundo Cadaval struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Walther Jano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 16th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walther Jano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The audience was convinced that Marco Walregt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Walregt in the 26th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Niels Rooy could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Dante Lacasa however easily saved by the left post. After 31 played minutes The Maquis got a freekick which was hit by 陈建川. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Joel Gaona hit a great ball. Oliver Smit hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of The Maquis:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Mexico:s goal. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Walther Jano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, The Maquis's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhuo Feng Lei in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Maquis's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Walther Jano, making the score, 0-3. The Maquis's Anthony Mancini was substituted for Lech Dudek. Walther Jano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 66th minute. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Walther Jano could save by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Facundo Cadaval slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walther Jano. That made the score 0-4 after 74 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Walther Jano in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anthony Mancini, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Walther Jano made a huge save. In the 89th minute, Anthony Mancini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the The Maquis defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walther Jano. The The Maquis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walther Jano should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Mexico left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Maquis.
