Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, SpringPojkarnas BK's Erik Harman got a free kick in the 5th minute. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alens Biedriņš in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to SpringPojkarnas BK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Erik Harman hit a great ball. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jim Lindberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Jordi Leal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Gustav Levander dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcos Cotilla, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Harman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alens Biedriņš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jordi Leal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Berganza to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordi Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 63 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Sarmiento. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Harman in the 65th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Christian Jakobsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SpringPojkarnas BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. Christian Jakobsson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordi Leal in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 76th minute Matīss Amatnieks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by SpringPojkarnas BK's Alens Biedriņš. But to his dismay, Alens Biedriņš quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Jordi Leal took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 95th minute, Erik Harman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alex Cambeiro fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Panama's protests and gave Alex Cambeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Panama's Alex Cambeiro got a free kick in the 97th minute. Panama's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
