Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tomas Illescas kicked off to start the match. If Rudi de Zwart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 4 played minutes Caseys Dreamteam 2 got a freekick which was hit by Ben Luikens. Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ben Luikens quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Caseys Dreamteam 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Damstra to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ed Wilhelm. Caseys Dreamteam 2's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Caseys Dreamteam 2's Matias Abadie. But to his dismay, Matias Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 30th minute, Rudi de Zwart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Rudi de Zwart kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Matias Abadie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rudi de Zwart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rudi de Zwart scored 3-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ed Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ed Wilhelm made a huge save. With a little luck, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ed Wilhelm got control of the ball when Guillermo Mariano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jan Damstra fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caseys Dreamteam 2's protests and gave Jan Damstra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Damstra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 86 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Alex Chicote. Ed Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 96 minutes into the game, Rudi de Zwart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caseys Dreamteam 2's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After 96 played minutes Caseys Dreamteam 2 got a freekick which was hit by Rudi de Zwart. Caseys Dreamteam 2's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
