U21 Cyprus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Punisher the free kick. Dimosthenis Picoulas hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Miodek, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 27 minutes into the game, The Punisher's Michail Bakunin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nykteus Kouches's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ke Kun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, U21 Cyprus's Troizen Spiridakou got a free kick in the 41st minute. Antaios Tsangaris hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, U21 Cyprus's Ke Kun threw himself towards the right post 47 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyknos Tsogas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, The Punisher's Ke Kun got control of the ball when Nykteus Kouches tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 49th minute of the match U21 Cyprus got a corner. The Punisher's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nykteus Kouches ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nykteus Kouches made a great header on U21 Cyprus's corner, it was just that The Punisher's Ke Kun managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kyknos Tsogas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Troizen Spiridakou kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Kyknos Tsogas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ke Kun was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ekhemos Kezdoglou was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Edgar Miodek capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Miodek really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. The Punisher's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
