Mané Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 6th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hising Island FC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mané Netto came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olle Billström during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mané Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 14th minute of play. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Hising Island FC got a freekick which was hit by Olle Billström. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play forced Hising Island FC's goalkeeper Mané Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Mané Netto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hising Island FC's goalie prevented a goal. Anthon Finman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hising Island FC. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Mané Netto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Hising Island FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Mané Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mané Netto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 38th minute of play. When Anthon Finman came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hising Island FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anthon Finman couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mané Netto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anthon Finman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 50 minutes into the match, Hising Island FC's goalkeeper Mané Netto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Andino. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Mané Netto however easily saved by the left post. After 61 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. Hising Island FC's Mané Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Hising Island FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Mané Netto. In the 74th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mané Netto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Hising Island FC's Mané Netto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 80th minute of play. Anthon Finman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mané Netto made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mané Netto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. The Hising Island FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
