Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. André Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Sjöberg came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Tomas Berganza. But to his dismay, Tomas Berganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Bernt Olofsson kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Sjöberg having to interfere. André Sjöberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Sjöberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, JoynickFC's Bernt Olofsson got a free kick in the 28th minute. Miguel Miralles charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Miralles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. André Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes JoynickFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abraham Alguacil who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Panama's corner Miguel Miralles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Sjöberg quite easily take care of the ball. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when D.J. Bobek sent off a good shot on target. André Sjöberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a rather tough play, JoynickFC's Andy Linquist got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for D.J. Bobek to strike the kick off in the second half. Alex Cambeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but André Sjöberg made a huge save. In the 54th minute, Armando Paul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JoynickFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 57 minutes into the match, Abraham Alguacil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Sjöberg. JoynickFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abraham Alguacil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. André Sjöberg made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Tomas Berganza sent off a good shot on target. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Tomas Berganza took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for André Sjöberg to make any attempt to save it. André Sjöberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 68th minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but André Sjöberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aaron Snell lost his temper 75 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 76th minute, Aaron Snell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Sjöberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abraham Alguacil. In the 78thth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JoynickFC's André Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, D.J. Bobek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Panama's Abraham Alguacil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Sjöberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 82 minutes, André Sjöberg successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. André Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Sjöberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in JoynickFC's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Sjöberg came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 played minutes JoynickFC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Paul. Panama's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
