Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kyknos Tsogas got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd minute, Edmundo Quadros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Edgar Miodek sped through U21 Cyprus's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ekhemos Kezdoglou. In the 8th minute, Guga Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ekhemos Kezdoglou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Miodek in the 14th minute of play. U21 Cyprus's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Miodek in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, The Punisher's Ke Kun got control of the ball when Nykteus Kouches tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Antaios Tsangaris fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored U21 Cyprus's protests and gave Antaios Tsangaris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, U21 Cyprus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antaios Tsangaris to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Nykteus Kouches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U21 Cyprus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nykteus Kouches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ke Kun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyknos Tsogas in the 51st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nykteus Kouches in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ke Kun saved The Punisher from getting behind. Kyknos Tsogas's late challenge caught a The Punisher's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kyknos Tsogas helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of The Punisher booed when U21 Cyprus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyknos Tsogas didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to U21 Cyprus getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kerkyon Telis hit a great ball. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guga Simão in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antaios Tsangaris in the 72nd minute of play forced The Punisher's goalkeeper Ke Kun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guga Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ekhemos Kezdoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ke Kun came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Cyprus's Nykteus Kouches. But to his dismay, Nykteus Kouches quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 90th minute, Dimosthenis Picoulas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ekhemos Kezdoglou came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by The Punisher's Guga Simão. But to his dismay, Guga Simão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 96th minute, Kyknos Tsogas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Punisher's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
