Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Generoso Egoitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lautaro Navarro came out and tried to block the shot, but Generoso Egoitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Canadians R C B's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Mlynarczyk came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute of the game Tomás Nesor made a throw-in which Ceferino Libertad played forward. Tomás Nesor's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Nesor helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Honduras booed when Canadians R C B was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Theobald kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Josef Mlynarczyk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Will Slegers scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 2-0. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Slegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Tino in the 24th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Canadians R C B's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Josef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 minutes of play Canadians R C B's Tomás Nesor was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 34th match minute, Canadians R C B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Nesor to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Sebastian Villa put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Josef Mlynarczyk. 38 minutes into the match, Canadians R C B's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Josef Mlynarczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Josef Mlynarczyk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Will Slegers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute of the match Honduras got a corner. Canadians R C B's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edmundo Espiga ran over to the corner to take the kick. Honduras's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edmundo Espiga in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that Edmundo Espiga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Josef Mlynarczyk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Will Slegers to make the kick off. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Slegers in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Frykberg was slow to take the kick. During this time Canadians R C B's players had a chance to rest. In the 56th minute Will Slegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Egoitz made in the 58th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcelo Theobald immediately put the ball in play. Will Slegers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Will Slegers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Libertad in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 played minutes Edmundo Espiga rounded Canadians R C B's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-2. 80 minutes into the game, Esteban Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Honduras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canadians R C B the free kick. The supporters of Canadians R C B booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 played minutes, Canadians R C B's Sebastian Frykberg shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canadians R C B reached it. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Christian Sancho got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Will Slegers in the 85th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Tino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Berdoi made in the 89th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcelo Theobald however managed to control. If Fabian Tino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Canadians R C B's Sebastian Frykberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Canadians R C B booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Canadians R C B had won after a very even match.
