The supporters of Frankfurt booed when Haiti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Ambroise didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maiko Koewius took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Noel Seide. Noel Seide dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 19th minute of the match, Horst Stieber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Noel Seide was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th match minute, Frankfurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernd Engel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Frankfurt's Bernd Engel got a free kick in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Haiti's goalkeeper Noel Seide had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maiko Koewius. Noel Seide was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Horst Stieber showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Timotheus Frey in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Haiti's Ernso Constant. 31 minutes into the match, Haiti's goal looked a bit too open when Maiko Koewius came free, but Noel Seide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Maiko Koewius kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Noel Seide. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Frankfurt's zone, Felix Dorval stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gero Beinlich came out of the goal and Felix Dorval tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haiti's Noel Seide proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Haiti from getting a goal against them. Uwe Kappertz made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Horst Stieber. With a little luck, Haiti's Noel Seide got control of the ball when Horst Stieber tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Maiko Koewius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Seide saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonathan Alphonse made a kick off. Horst Stieber scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Seide, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Maiko Koewius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Horst Stieber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Richstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noel Seide having to interfere. A collision led to Haiti getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Saint Jean Pierre hit a great ball. Noel Seide showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horst Stieber, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Costa Ravens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
