Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonathan Alphonse started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Ilie Enceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ostroveni's supporters rose to their feet, but Ilie Enceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Seide breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haiti's Ernso Constant got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Hanganu to maneuver through the defense. Ernso Constant hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Haiti got a freekick which was hit by Jean Claude Ulysse. In the 22nd minute of the match Luca Buricea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Seide showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luca Buricea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Noel Seide tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jean Claude Ulysse kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. FC Ostroveni's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 34th minute of the game, when Luca Buricea after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Haiti's goal. Luca Buricea was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Buricea during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, FC Ostroveni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Buricea to maneuver through the defense. Eric Pricop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Alphonse, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Ilie Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luca Buricea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Șerban Şteţ hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Pricop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Alphonse's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Luca Buricea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Alphonse in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eric Pricop saved FC Ostroveni from getting behind. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Mădălin Focșa hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Mădălin Focșa with Panait Ipătescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jonathan Alphonse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilie Enceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Eric Pricop but with some difficulty. FC Ostroveni's Eric Pricop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernso Constant in the 85th minute of play. A collision led to FC Ostroveni getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Șerban Şteţ hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Adrian Hanganu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Ostroveni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haiti the free kick. The supporters of Haiti booed when FC Ostroveni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Hanganu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Haiti's Jonathan Alphonse tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jonathan Alphonse struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eric Pricop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haiti. Haiti's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
