Roch Roman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Matteo Gillis's late challenge caught a Furia Calamar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matteo Gillis helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Galácticos del Pueblo got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Gillis. 12 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Roch Roman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Savion. A collision led to Galácticos del Pueblo getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Baltasar Ferman hit a great ball. If Julián Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabian Urdaspal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Flamme having to interfere. Tobias Leheren kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Roch Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Rolando Delfino struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Roch Roman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Calamar. Roch Roman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julián Quintero in the 34th minute of play. Fabian Urdaspal might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Flamme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabian Urdaspal ran back to his position shaking his head. Furia Calamar's Rafael Flamme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Urdaspal in the 35th minute of play. Julián Quintero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Furia Calamar's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julián Quintero in the 44th minute of play forced Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Roch Roman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Shen Jun Ao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roch Roman saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shen Jun Ao was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Freitas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, Fabian Urdaspal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roch Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Galácticos del Pueblo's zone, Julián Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roch Roman came out of the goal and Julián Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Delfino came free, but Roch Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Shen Jun Ao left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Furia Calamar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Roch Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Delfino in the 62nd minute of the match. When Furia Calamar's Shen Jun Ao in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
