Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Berganza made the kick off and thus started the match. Tristan Lane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidoro Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. In the 21stth minute of the game Tomas Berganza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celery's Leonardo Araoz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Celery getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Sergi Ramos hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, Celery's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Leonardo Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match, Eusebio Barroso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Cotilla was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After having played for 28 minutes, Tomas Berganza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Berganza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Panama booed when Celery was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Gaspar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonardo Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Celery's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Leonardo Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dylan Sarmiento's late challenge caught a Celery's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Celery players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Panama were winning 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tristan Lane to make the kick off. Leonardo Araoz made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Abraham Alguacil sent off a good shot on target. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonardo Araoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Luís Fábio Gaspar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Leonardo Araoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. With a little luck, Celery's Leonardo Araoz got control of the ball when Abraham Alguacil tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Celery's zone, Isidoro Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Araoz came out of the goal and Isidoro Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Araoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fábio Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tomas Berganza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Leonardo Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Tristan Lane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celery fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abraham Alguacil got free with Leonardo Araoz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tristan Lane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Cambeiro to maneuver through the defense. The Panama players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
