After 29 minutes, Jan Lind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PacMan SugarEaters and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Noboa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kenny Ugla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Moruga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Basarab Savin kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pankracy Ferfecki got free with Benito Sanz in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Brenner in the 40th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Alebeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Pankracy Ferfecki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tim Brenner to strike the kick off in the second half. If Jan Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Pankracy Ferfecki came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Leo Alebeck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pankracy Ferfecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tim Brenner took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Brenner, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Leo Alebeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute Tim Brenner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Brenner in the 88th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. PacMan SugarEaters had played much better football throughout.
