Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Olgierd Kempka kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olgierd Kempka in the 5th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Olgierd Kempka dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Silesia Opole's Wasyl Dec got a free kick in the 12th minute. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Wasyl Dec capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wasyl Dec really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jakub Fujarczuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Wasyl Dec was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Silesia Opole's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wlodzimierz Lukasik got free with Benito Sanz in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Aaron Alcocer got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Silesia Opole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Szostak to maneuver through the defense. Jakub Fujarczuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Noboa, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. Silesia Opole's Herbert Szostak got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Hugo Ferrant mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Silesia Opole players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Tasis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Jakub Fujarczuk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wasyl Dec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 78 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. Patryk Kopacz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Julian Gozdowski charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Gozdowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Axel Tasis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Tasis couldn't finish the play. Zdzislaw Walczyk charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zdzislaw Walczyk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th match minute, Silesia Opole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zdzislaw Walczyk to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. There was no doubt that Silesia Opole were the better team. Silesia Opole's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
