A collision led to Internacional de Lisboa getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Serafim Carreira hit a great ball. Abel Alves received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Abel Alves slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 47th minute.

Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Qin Ang Cheng having to interfere. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 60th minute. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Hendrik Saarberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Internacional de Lisboa were awarded a corner in the 64th minute after Uruguay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Samuel Aires took the corner. The corner led to Internacional de Lisboa's Jan Hendrik Saarberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Francisco Seco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Qin Ang Cheng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Internacional de Lisboa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
