After a rather tough play, BFC 1982's Elvio Bastian got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juraj Sklár in the 22nd minute of play forced BFC 1982's goalkeeper Abel Bordat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Krúpa came free, but Abel Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Bordat came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Krivé hnáty's Dávid Krúpa. But to his dismay, Dávid Krúpa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Hector Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Marián Mrázko kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After 38 minutes, Erik Kniha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Krivé hnáty and the BFC 1982 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Erik Kniha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Krivé hnáty's Marián Mrázko, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Krivé hnáty. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marián Mrázko was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Cena during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Krivé hnáty:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BFC 1982:s goal. Abel Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Kniha in the 74th minute of the match. Abel Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Kniha, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Erik Kniha came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Krivé hnáty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Kniha couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goalkeeper Matej Kolesár had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nunez Jerico. After 90 played minutes Krivé hnáty got a freekick which was hit by Kamil Žbírka. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
