The supporters of FC Ruh Lviv booed when Rayland FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Marchamalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Myroslav Akymenko managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Ruh Lviv's supporters rose to their feet, but Myroslav Akymenko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Bertol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yarema Rybka hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Joel Bertol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danylo Bandera in the 14th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danylo Bandera in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Bertol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reynardo Salto kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Endrick de Souza came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Endrick de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Taglieri was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 24 minutes into the match. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rayland FC! Vyacheslav Androsenko took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joel Bertol. Joel Bertol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Endrick de Souza hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Reynardo Salto hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Joel Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danylo Bandera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynardo Salto in the 36th minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Endrick de Souza notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin. Andriy Trubin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Reynardo Salto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Roger Bannister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Endrick de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Reynardo Salto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andriy Trubin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynardo Salto went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Joel Bertol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Illja Klochko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the FC Ruh Lviv defense, Reynardo Salto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Trubin. The FC Ruh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Trubin should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Rayland FC's Endrick de Souza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andriy Trubin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 76 minutes, Endrick de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rayland FC and the FC Ruh Lviv players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Endrick de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Joel Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myroslav Akymenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Roger Bannister was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rayland FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ruh Lviv the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Rayland FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Bannister to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game Vyacheslav Androsenko kicked a great long shot which passed Joel Bertol straight ahead into the goal, Result 4-2. One couldn't see Vyacheslav Androsenko behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Myroslav Akymenko in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Andriy Trubin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Endrick de Souza's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Joel Bertol successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, Artem Zborovskyi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Artem Zborovskyi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Ruh Lviv's protests and gave Artem Zborovskyi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Ruh Lviv getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Artem Zborovskyi hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Endrick de Souza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Andriy Trubin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Rayland FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Ruh Lviv had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
