In the 6th minute Geraldo Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Fernandez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Jacinto saved São Paulo da Floresta from getting behind. Gernando Sarmento took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Jacinto. Teodoro Jacinto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 20 minutes of play, Engenheiros da Vila's Wesley Salgado made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gernando Sarmento scored 0-4 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusébio Castro hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wanderson Fantini got free with Eriberto Queirós in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 31 minutes into the game, Engenheiros da Vila's Wesley Salgado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 34th minute, Christiano Ronaldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilmar Fontes hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Teodoro Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Jacinto in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, São Paulo da Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Sarmento came free, but Teodoro Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Sérgio Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Geraldo Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Flávio Mineiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Teodoro Jacinto. Flávio Mineiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Flávio Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Jacinto having to interfere. Teodoro Jacinto was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Geraldo Fernandez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Geraldo Fernandez really showed his touch with that goal: 0-8. 64 minutes into the game, Engenheiros da Vila's Gernando Sarmento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teodoro Jacinto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. São Paulo da Floresta's Teodoro Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save São Paulo da Floresta from getting a goal against them. In the 79th minute of the match Engenheiros da Vila got a corner. São Paulo da Floresta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gernando Sarmento ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 81 minutes of play, Engenheiros da Vila's Sérgio Jacinto made it 0-12 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodoro Jacinto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Jacinto came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiros da Vila's Gernando Sarmento. But to his dismay, Gernando Sarmento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-13. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Wesley Salgado took a quick shot and it went in 0-14 without a chance for Teodoro Jacinto to make any attempt to save it. Engenheiros da Vila's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
