Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Manly FC's Robbie Fowler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, BFC 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Oroitz to maneuver through the defense. Abel Bordat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Fowler in the 6th minute of the match. Abel Bordat came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Mourad Rocchi. But to his dismay, Mourad Rocchi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ambrosio Etxatxu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Pernambucano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ambrosio Etxatxu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Valentino Panetta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Artur Pernambucano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Corderall. Ambrosio Etxatxu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Pernambucano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Robbie Fowler scored 1-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abel Bordat, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rob Burton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Bordat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Rocchi came free, but Abel Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Mourad Rocchi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Abel Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abel Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mourad Rocchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Ambrosio Etxatxu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Artur Pernambucano. The goal made the score 2-3. Jasmine Kaine took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Bordat. Abel Bordat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 44th minute, Robbie Fowler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. In the 47th minute, Rob Burton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

After 51 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Etxatxu. Mourad Rocchi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abel Bordat having to interfere. In the 64th minute Robbie Fowler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Bordat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artur Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abel Bordat was a little too slow when Robbie Fowler got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-6. Manly FC made a substitution. Matthias Hanslow replaced Rob Burton. Evelio Dolcet made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manly FC's Jasmine Kaine. 84 minutes into the game, Manly FC's Mister Yasin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abel Bordat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-7. In the 95th minute, Manly FC's Robbie Fowler dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-8. Manly FC played a much better game than BFC 1982 and deserved their victory. The BFC 1982 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
