Urbes Cenzano came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by BFC 1982's Saturnino Txanton. But to his dismay, Saturnino Txanton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Abel Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Larrieta in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's goal looked a bit too open when Ambrosio Etxatxu came free, but Urbes Cenzano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute, Saturnino Txanton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbes Cenzano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Urbes Cenzano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Inocencio Corderall ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbes Cenzano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Urbes Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Corderall in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Corderall during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Inocencio Corderall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Ernesto Egoitz put in a rough tackle. After 24 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Egoitz. 25 minutes into the game, Ayoví Villavicencio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Abel Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. BFC 1982's Abel Bordat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save BFC 1982 from getting a goal against them. Armando Larrieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Abel Bordat made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Larrieta got free with Abel Bordat in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abel Bordat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ayoví Villavicencio in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Club Puerto Quito's Marcelo Noceda got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Abel Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armando Larrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Armando Larrieta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Abel Bordat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tenorio Cuerva made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Diego Narbona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Bordat. BFC 1982's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Narbona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. If Inocencio Corderall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ayoví Villavicencio in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abel Bordat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 73 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Tenorio Cuerva came free, but Abel Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Armando Larrieta hit a great ball. After 84 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Bastian. Tenorio Cuerva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abel Bordat having to make a save. Abel Bordat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tenorio Cuerva, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Inocencio Corderall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 94th minute Saturnino Txanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbes Cenzano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes Club Puerto Quito got a freekick which was hit by Zadornin Sereno. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
