An unexpectedly hard shot by Yarema Rybka in the 4th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Santos Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Jonathan Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Trubin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 8th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Santos Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Isazi in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Trubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Northern California's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Myroslav Akymenko scored to the left of an out of position Santos Mino, making the score, 1-0. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Bernaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Isazi came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Bernaldo came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Yarema Rybka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santos Mino. Northern California's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yarema Rybka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko in 37 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Santos Mino guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 38th minute, Artem Zborovskyi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Frans in the 39th minute of play forced FC Ruh Lviv's goalkeeper Andriy Trubin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernard McFrank during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Gustavo Isazi hit a great ball. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Isazi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Andriy Trubin made a huge save. In the 65th minute Myroslav Akymenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illja Klochko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yarema Rybka in the 70th minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Santos Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Jonathan Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pylyp Vitvitskyi charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pylyp Vitvitskyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Bernaldo's late challenge caught a FC Ruh Lviv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Bernaldo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Jonathan Bernaldo got a free kick in the 77th minute. Northern California's Santos Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Myroslav Akymenko in the 79th minute of play. After 82 minutes Northern California's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vyacheslav Androsenko who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Ruh Lviv's Vyacheslav Androsenko to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Mino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Ruh Lviv defense, Gustavo Isazi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andriy Trubin. The FC Ruh Lviv fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andriy Trubin should have stopped the shot. FC Ruh Lviv's Andriy Trubin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ruh Lviv from getting a goal against them. The FC Ruh Lviv support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
