After 10 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Bortzaioriz. 11 minutes into the match, BFC 1982's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Buda came free, but Abel Bordat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Miroslaw Buda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Lech Kojder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 3City United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BFC 1982 the free kick. In the 30th minute, Lech Kojder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Asgar Blennild managed to avoid a goal in the 41stth minute, when BFC 1982's Saturnino Txanton fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ambrosio Etxatxu made a kick off. BFC 1982's Augusto Bortzaioriz got his second yellow card of the match in the 51st minute. The referee ordered Augusto Bortzaioriz off the ground. In the 52nd match minute, BFC 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Bortzaioriz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in 3City United's zone, Inocencio Corderall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Asgar Blennild came out of the goal and Inocencio Corderall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the match, 3City United's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Txanton came free, but Asgar Blennild reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Inocencio Corderall struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Asgar Blennild didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BFC 1982. Saturnino Txanton might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Asgar Blennild. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Txanton ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, Miroslaw Buda notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of BFC 1982's Abel Bordat. Abel Bordat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lech Kojder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Abel Bordat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Abel Bordat successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Buda got free with Abel Bordat in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 3City United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
