After 24 minutes Manly FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marcelo Noceda who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Club Puerto Quito's corner Marcelo Noceda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sydney Ross quite easily take care of the ball. In the 28th minute, Armando Larrieta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Puerto Quito's Urbes Cenzano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Club Puerto Quito from getting a goal against them. Urbes Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mourad Rocchi in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Rob Burton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rob Burton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Urbes Cenzano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robbie Fowler in the 40th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Robbie Fowler could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Urbes Cenzano however easily saved by the left post. After 41 minutes, Diego Narbona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Puerto Quito and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Diego Narbona kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Valentino Panetta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbes Cenzano having to interfere. Robbie Fowler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Urbes Cenzano made a huge save.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelo Noceda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pete Wittber hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Paz Trezise kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Club Puerto Quito's Pepito Plasencia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sydney Ross narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes Manly FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Urbes Cenzano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. A collision led to Club Puerto Quito getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Sergio Piña hit a great ball. Robbie Fowler might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbes Cenzano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robbie Fowler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Puerto Quito's goalkeeper Urbes Cenzano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Club Puerto Quito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurxo Detres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbie Fowler struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Urbes Cenzano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Robbie Fowler put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Xurxo Detres hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Manly FC's Mourad Rocchi got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mister Yasin came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Manly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mister Yasin couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mister Yasin during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Robbie Fowler made a precise shot to the right of Urbes Cenzano. Club Puerto Quito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Urbes Cenzano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mister Yasin in the 96th minute of play. Manly FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
