Fabiano Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th minute, Davi Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davi Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Mino having to interfere. Valdir Ortiz's late challenge caught a Northern California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Ortiz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Valdir Ortiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Frans in the 18th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Martxel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Zemantauskas FC's Remo Varela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Santos Mino. Santos Mino yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After 40 minutes, Dante Taurino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Northern California and the Zemantauskas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Northern California! The goalkeeper, Santos Mino, was totally fooled by Zemantauskas FC's Miguel Negri, who 41 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gustavo Isazi to strike the kick off in the second half. Hernani Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Britto. Sílvio Penha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Isias went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 60th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Martxel to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Silverio Cordarius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Bernaldo in the 64th minute of play. Santos Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Davi Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davi Mello hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Northern California's Sílvio Penha threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gervasio Isias, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Through an outstanding action, after 70 minutes, Sílvio Penha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 75 minutes into the match, Zemantauskas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard McFrank came free, but Sílvio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Isias in the 76th minute of play forced Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sílvio Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Penha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Isias in the 82nd minute of the match. Davi Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zemantauskas FC made a substitution. Victor de Amorim replaced Remo Varela. After 85 played minutes Northern California got a freekick which was hit by Hector Martxel. In the 87th minute Gervasio Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Northern California booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabiano Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Sousa in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute of the match Zemantauskas FC got a corner. Northern California's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Miguel Negri ran over to the corner to take the kick. Many of Northern California's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Northern California may have spent more time on the ball, but Zemantauskas FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
