Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Manly FC's Robbie Fowler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Manly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman De Strijcker to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Mykyta Gvozdevych shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rob Burton's late challenge caught a FC Ruh Lviv's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Burton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Manly FC's Rob Burton got a free kick in the 8th minute. Andriy Trubin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman De Strijcker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Myroslav Akymenko's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Ross read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Mourad Rocchi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andriy Trubin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Andriy Trubin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herman De Strijcker in the 23rd minute of the match. Sydney Ross came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ruh Lviv's Pylyp Vitvitskyi. But to his dismay, Pylyp Vitvitskyi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Myroslav Akymenko to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Mourad Rocchi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andriy Trubin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Rocchi came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Sydney Ross throw himself and got hold of the ball when Myroslav Akymenko in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The FC Ruh Lviv fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when FC Ruh Lviv's Myroslav Akymenko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Manly FC were furious when Paz Trezise was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 65th match minute, Manly FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paz Trezise to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Valentino Panetta. Herman De Strijcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rob Burton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Trubin having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, FC Ruh Lviv's goal looked a bit too open when Mourad Rocchi came free, but Andriy Trubin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herman De Strijcker in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andriy Trubin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mourad Rocchi in the 88th minute. Herman De Strijcker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herman De Strijcker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andriy Trubin having to interfere. Chants of FC Ruh Lviv echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Manly FC had held the ball for most of the match.
