Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Monte started the match with the kick off. Virgil Panciu took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Mino. Santos Mino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. David Llorian's late challenge caught a Sporting Royal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Llorian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Llorian to maneuver through the defense. Octavian Gherasescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hector Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Leontin Ilieș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Northern California's Jonathan Bernaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leontin Ilieș made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sporting Royal's Leontin Ilieș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Isias in the 19th minute of play. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. David Llorian hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Octavian Gherasescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Santos Mino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience cheered when Octavian Gherasescu's long shot passed Santos Mino's right side. It was 2-1, 24 minutes into the match. Santos Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgil Panciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Llorian got his second yellow card in the match during the 36th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. David Llorian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With his leg Santos Mino managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Sporting Royal's Virgil Panciu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Frans in the 39th minute of play forced Sporting Royal's goalkeeper Leontin Ilieș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Cimbron in the 42nd minute of play forced Northern California's goalkeeper Santos Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Dorin Borza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgil Panciu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Conrado Frans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Leontin Ilieș made a huge save. After some careless play in the Northern California defense, Virgil Panciu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Mino. The Northern California fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Mino should have stopped the shot. Sporting Royal made a substitution. Damian Crăciun replaced Acácio Cunha. After 61 minutes, Virgil Panciu made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Northern California's Santos Mino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Royal's Hermes Soveral was substituted for Cosme Cimbron. In the 66thth minute of the game Octavian Gherasescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Northern California's Santos Mino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Bernaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Mino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Gherasescu in the 70th minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Martxel came free, but Leontin Ilieș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jonathan Bernaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sporting Royal's Nae Moisil was substituted for Ionică Predescu. Leontin Ilieș was a little too slow when Conrado Frans got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 4-2. Hermes Soveral might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Santos Mino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hermes Soveral ran back to his position shaking his head.
