The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Krivé hnáty getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Asgar Blennild stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marián Mrázko's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Asgar Blennild took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marián Mrázko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Marián Mrázko made a precise shot to the right of Asgar Blennild. 3City United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 26th match minute, 3City United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lech Kojder to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Krivé hnáty booed when 3City United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerzy Cichewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 3City United! Asgar Blennild came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Krivé hnáty's Kamil Žbírka. But to his dismay, Kamil Žbírka quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Dávid Krúpa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Krivé hnáty's supporters rose to their feet, but Dávid Krúpa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asgar Blennild breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the game, Marián Cupka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Krivé hnáty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 3City United the free kick. Marián Cupka kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. If Erik Kniha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The 3City United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Krivé hnáty were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslaw Buda made a kick off. Krivé hnáty's Matej Kolesár played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiktor Osowski in the 52nd minute of play. A collision led to Krivé hnáty getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Erik Kniha hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, 3City United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Chmelyk to maneuver through the defense. Jerzy Cichewski's late challenge caught a Krivé hnáty's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Cichewski helped the player get up and apologised. Jerzy Cichewski kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Marián Mrázko got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute Erik Kniha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asgar Blennild saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lech Kojder fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 3City United's protests and gave Lech Kojder a yellow card for diving instead. Lech Kojder hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marián Mrázkos short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Asgar Blennild to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 84 minutes into the match, Krivé hnáty's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Osowski came free, but Matej Kolesár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Aşır Timurtas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Krivé hnáty fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After having played for 94 minutes, Juraj Sklár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Krivé hnáty's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juraj Sklár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Krivé hnáty's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
