Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Torres in the 14th minute of the match. João Carlos Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ciro Brasil went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Bert Karlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Carlos Vale having to interfere. Fred Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paredes Fortes having to interfere. A collision led to FC Catalunha getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Carlos Augusto do Vale hit a great ball. Paredes Fortes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Torres in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th match minute, FC Catalunha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Brasil struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. João Carlos Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AKI CORINTHIANS. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

52 minutes into the match, Bert Karlsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Carlos Vale. FC Catalunha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bert Karlsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 55th minute, Ciro Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Carlos Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 59th minute Fred Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Fortes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Carlos Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bert Karlsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Fred Torres's late challenge caught a AKI CORINTHIANS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fred Torres helped the player get up and apologised. AKI CORINTHIANS's Eusébio Negri was substituted for Bert Karlsson. In the 69th minute, Ciro Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AKI CORINTHIANS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. A collision led to FC Catalunha getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Christiano Tepedino hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adilson Guerra got free with Paredes Fortes in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, AKI CORINTHIANS's Alfred Schrijns got a free kick in the 95th minute. Paredes Fortes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adilson Guerra in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC Catalunha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AKI CORINTHIANS.
