After 3 minutes, Estacio Marimon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hogwarts and the BlueLionesse players grew even worse after the yellow card. BlueLionesse's Narcis Inculeț was substituted for Mihnea Martinaș. In the 4th minute, Estacio Marimon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cătălin Jdeica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Barquerin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Fetea scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ignacio Herrero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Fetea came free, but Ignacio Herrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Herrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Greblă in the 31st minute of play. After 32 played minutes Hogwarts got a freekick which was hit by Estacio Marimon. Ignacio Herrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Greblă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignacio Herrero came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Dacian Fetea. But to his dismay, Dacian Fetea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 38 minutes into the game, Emanuel Greblă cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ignacio Herrero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 42nd play minutes Emanuel Greblă shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Ignacio Herrero and just under the crossbar into goal. After the first half BlueLionesse were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dacian Fetea made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Greblă came free, but Ignacio Herrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Fetea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Greblă in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacio Herrero saved Hogwarts from getting behind. With a little luck, Hogwarts's Ignacio Herrero got control of the ball when Cristinel Gheorghiță tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Herrero came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by BlueLionesse's Dacian Fetea. But to his dismay, Dacian Fetea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Irinel Gheondea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ignacio Herrero having to interfere. Ignacio Herrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Greblă in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Narcis Inculeț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute of the match, Dacian Fetea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ignacio Herrero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of BlueLionesse booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estacio Marimon didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Dacian Fetea made a precise shot to the right of Ignacio Herrero. Hogwarts's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 88th minute, BlueLionesse's Dacian Fetea ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ignacio Herrero. Ignacio Herrero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Agustín Barquerin took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cătălin Jdeica. Cătălin Jdeica dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Greblă got free with Ignacio Herrero in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. BlueLionesse played a much better game than Hogwarts and deserved their victory. The Hogwarts players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
