Cahya Haryanto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo de Azevedo having to interfere. Catarino Novais struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Olavo de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Arenillas. Olavo de Azevedo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

If Catarino Novais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Catalunha's Adilson Guerra got a free kick in the 78th minute. Catarino Novais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
