The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Polo Quinteros's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. In the 3rd minute, Polo Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute, Abelardo Pero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Nicodemo Diestre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Fernando Eagles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Camarón Bombay the free kick. Nicodemo Diestre kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 12 minutes Camarón Bombay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Navarro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to San Fernando Eagles's Michael Stor getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Pero in the 14th minute of play. Polo Quinteros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Gianluca Buffon made a huge save. A collision led to Camarón Bombay getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Christian Gonsalvo hit a great ball. Gianluca Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Polo Quinteros in the 18th minute. Gianluca Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vlad Enceanu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. San Fernando Eagles's Bartolo Salvator played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Pero in the 30th minute of play. Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeca de Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 33 minutes San Fernando Eagles's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeu Sanches who took care of the corner kick. Bartolo Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Bartolo Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beto Acosta in the 37th minute of the match. Abelardo Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gianni Lo Celso hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Vlad Enceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Fernando Eagles's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlad Enceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluca Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Vlad Enceanu made the kick off in the second half. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bartolo Salvator took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Fernando Eagles made a substitution. Vicente Sol replaced Vlad Enceanu. San Fernando Eagles's Niceto Chorache was substituted for Roque Ariando. San Fernando Eagles's Daniel Abeitia was substituted for Elias Navarro. After a rather tough play, San Fernando Eagles's Vicente Sol got a free kick in the 69th minute. Camarón Bombay's Gianluca Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Quinteros in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute San Fernando Eagles were awarded a corner. Polo Quinteros went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Polo Quinteros got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gianluca Buffon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Polo Quinteros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Gianluca Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of San Fernando Eagles booed when Camarón Bombay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gianni Lo Celso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Sol in the 84th minute of play forced Camarón Bombay's goalkeeper Gianluca Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Buffon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Polo Quinteros's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Gianluca Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Quinteros, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The San Fernando Eagles fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camarón Bombay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
