In the 30th minute Adrianinho Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Arnedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Farfán in the 32nd minute of play. Elias Arnedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Santos in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Tiberiu Romaşcanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the game, Jefferson Farfán lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Márcio de Brito. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicasio Raymond made a kick off. Rodrigo Fahl charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodrigo Fahl the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Peter Santos might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Arnedo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Santos ran back to his position shaking his head. Samurai Champions FC's Alfredo Di Cintio was substituted for Amílton Cordeiro. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Rodrigo Fahl quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Valentín Pascal, made in the 60th minute of the game. When Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The throw-in from Valentín Pascal in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's Rodrigo Fahl. Samurai Champions FC's Márcio de Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 86th minute of play. Márcio de Brito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jefferson Farfán's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Elias Arnedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Recife in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samurai Champions FC's goalkeeper Márcio de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
