A collision led to FC Catalunha getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Belmiro Dantas hit a great ball. Olavo de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Ramalho went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. If 史天威 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 史天威 hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Laerte Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Olavo de Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 等待和希望MU. Belmiro Dantas hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Olavo de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, FC Catalunha's goal looked a bit too open when 严适亮 came free, but Olavo de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 35 minutes, 史天威 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 等待和希望MU's supporters crossed their fingers, but 史天威 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute 庄光青 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 等待和希望MU fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when 等待和希望MU's 任泉光 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Laerte Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 51 played minutes FC Catalunha got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Mazza. The long shot by 叶锋洋 in the 52nd minute really tested Olavo de Azevedo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 54th minute, 史天威 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olavo de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Olavo de Azevedo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 叶锋洋 went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, 史天威 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olavo de Azevedo. FC Catalunha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 史天威 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 史天威 in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olavo de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 任泉光 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo de Azevedo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 史天威 in the 65th minute of play forced FC Catalunha's goalkeeper Olavo de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Ramalho in the 66th minute of the match. Olavo de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by 等待和希望MU's 秦霖永. But to his dismay, 秦霖永 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 等待和希望MU made a substitution. 蔡坤克 replaced 秦军浩. Olavo de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 史天威, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, 等待和希望MU's Laerte Ramalho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olavo de Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. 等待和希望MU's 许彬响 was substituted for 严适亮. Olavo de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by 等待和希望MU's Laerte Ramalho. But to his dismay, Laerte Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Laerte Ramalho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Olavo de Azevedo made a huge save. 93 minutes into the match, Laerte Ramalho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olavo de Azevedo, 0-11. 等待和希望MU's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
